When age gets to you, and every movement feels almost unbearable, the following thought probably occurs to every person: “Oh, it would be nice to be young again!”

And even if this thought never occurred to the Saitous, who are already very advanced in age, they nevertheless wake up one day – after eating a mysterious apple the day before – with greatly rejuvenated bodies. To be more precise, the old married couple has transformed into young adults of about 20. Since there seems to be no reversion, Shouzou and Ine decide to resign themselves to it and continue their lives as usual on the apple farm they built in Aomori. But will this rejuvenation bring only positives? Or will the two of them face an even greater challenge? The cheerful everyday story of a married couple once again in the prime of their youth begins!

Wenn das Alter einem zu schaffen macht und sich jede Bewegung schon beinahe unerträglich anfühlt, kommt wohl einer jeden Person folgender Gedanke: »Hach, wäre es schön, noch einmal jung zu sein!«

Und selbst wenn den im Alter bereits sehr fortgeschrittenen Saitous dieser Gedanke nie kam, wachen sie eines Tages – nachdem sie am Vortag einen mysteriösen Apfel gegessen haben – mit stark verjüngten Körpern auf. Um genauer zu sein, wurde das alte Ehepärchen in etwa 20-jährige junge Erwachsene verwandelt. Da keine Rückverwandlung stattzufinden scheint, beschließen Shouzou und Ine, sich damit abzufinden und ihr Leben auf dem von ihnen aufgebauten Apfelhof in Aomori wie gewohnt fortzuführen. Doch wird diese Verjüngung nur Positives mit sich bringen? Oder werden die beiden vor eine noch größere Herausforderung gestellt werden? Die heitere Alltagsgeschichte eines Ehepärchens, das erneut in der Blüte ihrer Jugend steht, beginnt!
